In a city where the majority of jazz concerts take place indoors at clubs, hotels, libraries and the like; or at very large outdoor arenas and concert venues; Jazz at the Creek offers an intimate outdoor setting along the banks of Chollas Creek in the beautiful Market Creek Amphitheater, where the stage is set into the creek bed. Great food, people, jazz music and the outdoors merge to bring an unforgettable experience!

For the patron that seeks a VIP experience second to none reserve your seats!!! Our premium services are extended to our dining VIP Dinner/Concert patrons, where our wait staff will take your beverage orders at your seat.

General Admission:  $65 Advance / $75 At the Door

SOLD OUT - VIP Dinner/Concert Package for One: Stage Level -  $150 Advance / $160 At the Door

Unique on the San Diego jazz scene in setting as well as purpose, this outstanding new generation of jazz, Jazz at the Creek has ignited the interest of international artists and jazz enthusiasts alike, each and every year, drawing crowds from across San Diego County, Southern California and neighboring states.

This series brings Jazz with PURPOSE:

  • Celebrating FIRST RESPONDERS
  • It affords an opportunity for those who are community involved, as well as jazz enthusiasts in general, to come together in a multicultural setting where they can socialize and network as they enjoy great music.
  • Subsidized tickets are provided to pre-selected community residents who might not otherwise be able to attend an event of this calibur.
  • Interns in MPI's Mentorship/Internship Program gain real-life working experience throughout; learning first-hand what it takes to produce a major concert, as they train to become next-generation entertainment industry professionals.

Restrictions

MUST BE 21 years or older to attend.

Outside food and beverages, and animals are not allowed inside the venue.

Food, beverages and upscale vendor wares are available for purchase at the Amphitheater starting when the doors open at 1:00pm. 

The Venue - amphitheater has concrete, stepped seating with grassy areas where you may sit your fold-out chairs. No umbrellas are allowed; there are overhead tarp sails blocking some of the sun. We encourage you to arrive early to get best shade.

Easy access via public transportation is available. The Euclid Trolley Station is situated at the Plaza; simply walk across the parking lot to the Amphitheater.

Parking is available behind the Jacobs Center at 404 Euclid Ave, San Diego, CA 92114 (when parking behind the Jacobs Center, walk across the red walk-bridge to the Amphitheater). DO NOT PARK IN FOOD 4 LESS LOT
