The 10th Annual Bayside Gospel Concert Aboard the Midway will take place on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 7:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., on the flight deck of the famous USS Midway Museum, 910 N. Harbor Dr., San Diego, CA 92101. Gate opens at 6:45pm.
A unique and exciting evening filled with great gospel music and celebrating family and those addressing health & wellness, and mental health
For 6 years crowds flooded in from all across San Diego County, Southern California and neighboring states. In 2020 & 2021 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, thousands of viewers watched online the concert live-streamed from the flight deck of the USS Midway. And in 2022 the public returned in record numbers to the flight deck to once again celebrate this amazing experience together.
This year let's see the planes pushed back as we pack it out! This is a concert you will never forget.

Bayside Gospel Concert brings Gospel music with PURPOSE:
- Celebrating Family and those addressing Health & Wellness, and Mental Health
- Affording an opportunity for those who are community involved as well as Gospel Music enthusiasts to come together in a multicultural setting where they can socialize and network as they enjoy great music.
- Interns in MPI's STEAM Mentorship/Internship Program gain real-life working experience throughout; learning first-hand what it takes to produce a major concert, as they train to become next-generation entertainment industry professionals. MPI is the Technology and Arts in STEAM.
- Subsidized tickets are provided to pre-selected community residents who might not otherwise be able to attend an event of this caliber.
